With COVID-19 taking the world by storm, to say this week was unusual would be the understatement of the century!
With NHL action suspended until further notice, players are allowed to go home but must self-quarantine.
Considering ice rinks and gyms are closed, it’ll be a challenge for NHL players to maintain their elite fitness levels. Trainers of several NHL players, Matt Nichol and Dan Noble provide their insight into how players can stay in shape, assuming the NHL will resume this year.
As of now, NHL players are spitballing a late-July return with the postseason starting in August.
Another proposal suggests no regular season with all 31 teams getting at least one playoff game…

It will be interesting to see how the season pans out and how it affects records, bonuses, awards, draft picks, etc.

Assuming the NHL season ends today, Jack Hughes has put up the worst 1st overall rookie season, statistically speaking, in 20+ years.

And shoutout to Landon Marleau for pulling off the perfectly fitting prank of a 13-year-old boy in 2020, changing Christina Marleau‘s (his mother and wife of Patrick Marleau) Google account to “DeezNutzz.” Hats off to you, Landon!
And Matt poses the question if you could spend two weeks in quarantine with any NHL player, current or former, who would you choose and why?
